Headache with Ubuntu Linux - No more or still?

Author: eL | Files under Software Review

When i first joined IT field, i heard about LINUX. It sound like a huge trouble maker Operating System and a disaster. And yes they do heheh. Why Linux? Because there are such rumors telling me that most of IT company nowadays especially in Malaysia are started to practise and use linux based system. Its free, and come with thousands of application for anybody to used. Replacing the expensive Windows, now windows should have that headache. Windows is so easy in many ways. From navigation, installation, and solving most of our daily problem. And it is easy to understand too. Imagine a 6 years old kid knows how to install files into XP :) My myself born with / by using Windows based system, since DOS - 95 - 98 - 2000 - and lastly now with XP Home. Added with Vista transformation pack :)

I got my interest with linux when the ubuntu linux arrive to the world of operating system. Looks nice with silky all the way into it. I’ve read alot of ubuntu information through the net, and come across to some people who are using it. And lastly i give it shot. It failed for the first time during installation. I guess im not good enough with to understand ubuntu linux coding, tricks and tips during installation. I corrupted my own Windows XP. And have to reformat and install everything back. Lucky i still have all my data with me. My precious Gigabytes data :)

When i failed for the first time, doesnt mean that failure will stop me from ubuntu my head :) I continued my reading and seeking for help. While Im getting myself a 120GB 2.5″ hard disk just to keep my data, and use the internal hard disk for dual boot of XP and Ubuntu.

And today, i manage to install ubuntu correctly to my internal hard disk without any problem. I can now dual boot my fujitsu system, to use ubuntu or to use xp. Its great in ubuntu, but still i need to read more and learn about it espeacially dealing with the codes :)
