I’m impressed with the new emotions or smilies that was posted by NoktahHitam. And of course I’m going to use it now 
Very easy to install, and you need WP-Grin plugin to enable it in your “Write Post” Dashboard and “Comment column” in your blog. You can visit NoktahHitam blog for further instruction and download. I will just write my own instructions here.
- Download and upload the smilies pack that you get from NoktahHitam. Upload it too “public_html/wp-includes/images/smilies†folder.
- As for me, I deleted all the default smilies (if you have any inside that folder), and replace it to the one above.
- I always set the permission to 777 .
- Now download and open your “functions.php†from “public_html/wp-includes†folder, go to line #1333. Modify accordingly. You can follow NoktahHitam function.php, but I recommend not to copy and paste everything. I did mine by copy and paste the smilies part only, and leave other code by default on my wordpress. Which means just copy and past the one in line #1333 (clue - you will see a list of .gif and “:___:”).
- Then install WP-Grin plugin, and active it.
- You can see your new smilies on top of comment box in your blog, and also in your “Write Post” in DashBoard.
