I read a lot of question about the visual editor problem after installing or upgrading wordpress 2.5. Some having problem at 1 blog, but not another wordpress blog with the same version. It happened to me too. I tried to create 3 blog, 2 have no problem, but this blog having problem with it. I think the fresh install Wordpress 2.5 would not have this problem. Maybe it only occurred for those who upgrading from previous version to the new one.
What I do to fix it?
- Re-install your wordpress 2.5 (optional)
- Go to your plugin tab. Deactivate all your plugin(s).
- Now go back to Write Post. Did you see the Visual Editor appear now? If Yes proceed to 4. Else do number 1.
- When it appear, ofcourse you always wanted to have your plugin(s). Go back to plugin tab and active all plugin(s) now.
- Double check your Write Post again. See if Visual Edit appear when all the plugin(s) is active. It should be there by now. It works on my blog
I’m not sure why it happened that way with the plugin(s). I just try to deactivate and active all of it again, then only my visual editor appear. At least, I didn’t jump to the conclusion of install fresh wordpress, else it would be troublesome. Have fun!

Well what worked for me was to deactivate this TinyMCE plugin I had. But kudos for the light hearted way of approaching the subject. My review of Wordpress 2.5 is WAY more brutal.

Thank you eL for leaving a comment on my newly established blog.
I had to face one more issue two days ago: my rss feed was throwing a not well-formed error. But this particular error was because of the theme and not WP 2.5.
My Wordpress is now running perfectly!
And I hope 2.5 is not giving you any more problems either.
